How do I sell recordings of my webinars?

To sell webinar recordings with Continuum Learn, you create a replay-only product (or a live + replay ticket) on the event, set how long buyers can watch, and share the event page or a buy link. The session is recorded automatically, and buyers pay by card into your own Stripe account and watch on your branded site.

There are three ways to sell an event: live only (pay per view), replay only, or live plus replay. Each is a product with its own price, and any can be switched off or kept for bundles only. If you have recorded sessions that were never live, an on-demand event lets you upload the video and sell it with no expiry. The replay window runs from 1 to 365 days after the last session. Someone who buys late still gets the full number of days from their purchase, not what is left of the original window.

You can group sessions and courses into bundles, add a free supporting video as a trailer, and put a buy button on your own website using a buy link. Buyers need an account to purchase, and orders can be refunded from Manage > Purchases. Prices are in pounds sterling with UK VAT at 20% added at checkout, and discount codes are not available yet. For the live side see our live training platform page, and for how streaming works see LMS with live streaming.

Frequently asked questions

How do I sell recordings of my webinars?

Create a replay-only product, or a live + replay ticket, on the event and set a price. Sessions streamed on Continuum's managed channels are recorded automatically and attached as a replay. You then share the event page or a buy link, and buyers pay by card and watch on your branded site.

Can I sell live access and replay access separately?

Yes. Each event can have several products, each set to live only, replay only or live plus replay, at any price including free. Products can also be kept for bundles only. For how live streaming itself works, see LMS with live streaming.

How long can buyers watch a replay?

You choose a replay window per event, from 1 to 365 days, with 30 as the default. It runs from the end of the last session. Someone who buys late still gets the full number of days from their purchase, so a late sale is never left with a few hours of access.

Can I sell training videos that were never streamed live?

Yes. Create an on-demand event, upload the recording and add a product. Buyers of an on-demand event get access with no expiry. You can also mark a supporting video as free to use as a trailer.

Can I put a buy button for a recording on my own website?

Yes. Each product has a buy link that takes the buyer to checkout and can send them back to your own site afterwards. Buyers need an account to pay, so guests are asked to sign in or register first.

How do I get paid, and what fees apply?

Card payments go to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Stripe's own card fees apply, and a platform fee is also charged on sales, so ask us for the current figure when you book a demo. Orders can be refunded from Manage > Purchases.

Do you support discount codes, other currencies or VAT-exempt pricing?

Not yet. Prices are in pounds sterling, card is the only payment method, and UK VAT at 20% is added at checkout. There is no per-team VAT setting, so charities that are not VAT-registered should ask us about this before buying. There are no discount codes at the moment.

Can members watch recordings for free while non-members pay?

Yes, through courses. Learners enrolled on a course that embeds the event get access through their enrolment without buying a ticket. There is no separate member price on event products, so a member who is not enrolled would pay the standard price. See member training LMS.
