Sell online courses and bundles from your branded learning site
Put a price on a course, group courses into a bundle, and let buyers pay by card on your branded site. The money goes to your Stripe account and the learner is enrolled the moment the payment completes.
Card payments are taken on your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, so you are the seller and keep the customer relationship.
- Courses, bundles and event tickets in one cart
- Automatic enrolment on payment
- Part or full refunds from Manage
How to sell online courses with Continuum Learn
Connect your Stripe account, set a course price and publish the course so learners can buy access. Sell single courses or bundles from your branded learning site, or link to checkout from your existing website. A completed order enrols the buyer.
You connect your own Stripe account once, from Manage > Selling. After that, any course with a price shows a buy button to learners, and the course and bundle prices you set are what appear in the cart. Payment is taken as a direct charge on your connected Stripe account, so you are the merchant, Stripe pays you out on its normal schedule and your learners deal with your brand, not ours. A platform fee is charged on each sale, so ask for the current figure when you book a demo.
Courses can be sold on their own or in a bundle: a named group of courses, programmes and event tickets with one price. The bundle editor shows the individual value of what is included next to the bundle price, so you can see the saving you are offering. Buying a bundle enrols the buyer on every course in it. You can also give each learner group its own price for a course, and the lowest matching group price applies.
Things to know before you commit. Prices are in pounds sterling and UK VAT at 20% is added at checkout, with no per-product tax rate and no discount codes yet. Card is the only payment method, and each order is one place per item for the buyer, not a block of seats. To sell recordings and live events instead of courses, see sell webinar recordings.
Payments settle in your own Stripe account, and every sale enrols the learner automatically

Bundle courses at one price
The bundle editor shows the bundle price, the courses in it and the saving against buying each one separately.
Set the price on the course
Enter the course price, and set prices for specific learner groups if you want to. Checkout currently charges in pounds sterling (GBP).
What your buyer sees at checkout
The order summary lists the course with subtotal, tax and total, and asks the buyer to accept your terms of sale before moving on to card payment.
Why sell courses from your own LMS
Selling and delivering from one platform means no spreadsheet of who paid and who needs access.
Paid into your Stripe account
Connect your Stripe account and card payments land with you, not in a marketplace wallet. Refunds go back through the same account.
Access the moment payment clears
When the payment completes, the learner is enrolled on the course, or on every course in the bundle, and gets an order confirmation email.
Bundles with a visible saving
Group courses, programmes and event tickets under one price. The editor shows the individual value, the bundle price and the saving.
Your brand, your domain
Learners buy and learn on your own branded site. You can also put a buy button on your website with a buy link. See white label LMS.

Course selling features in Continuum Learn
Everything below is in the product today
Price per course
Set a course price once your Stripe account is connected. Courses without a price have no purchase step; their enrolment settings still control access.
Bundles
Create bundles in Manage > Selling > Bundles from courses, programmes and event products, with one price and an active or inactive switch.
Group pricing
Give specific learner groups a different price for a course. If someone is in several groups, the lowest price applies.
Cart and card checkout
Buyers add courses, bundles or event products to a cart and pay by card. They must accept your terms of sale at checkout.
Buy links for your own site
Each course, bundle and event product has a buy link that takes the buyer to checkout and can return them to your website afterwards.
Automatic enrolment
A completed order enrols the buyer on the course, or on every course and programme in a bundle, and fires the order confirmation email.
Confirmations and order history
Buyers get an order confirmation email showing the VAT line, and see their orders in their account. You can resend a confirmation from Manage > Purchases.
Full and partial refunds
Refund an order, or part of it, from Manage > Purchases. The money returns through your Stripe account and the order is marked refunded or partially refunded.
Orders in one place
Manage > Purchases lists every order for your team, with its status and the refund and resend actions.

Frequently asked questions
How do I sell online courses on my own website?
Connect your Stripe account in Manage > Selling, set a price on each course and publish it. Learners can then buy on your Continuum site, and you can send buyers from your own website to checkout with a buy link or, on WordPress, a buy button. See WordPress LMS and embed courses on your website.
How do I get paid, and what fees apply?
Card payments are taken on your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, and Stripe pays you out on its usual schedule. Stripe's card fees apply, and a platform fee is also charged on each sale. The rate is set per team, so ask us for the current figure when you book a demo.
Can I sell a bundle of courses at one price?
Yes. Create a bundle in Manage > Selling > Bundles, tick the courses, programmes or event products to include and set one price. The editor shows the individual value and the saving. Buying the bundle enrols the buyer on everything in it.
Do you support discount codes or coupons?
No, not yet. The only way to vary a price today is group pricing, where a specific learner group gets a different price for a course and the lowest matching price applies. Group prices apply to courses, not to bundles or event products.
Can I charge in euros or dollars, or set VAT-exempt prices?
No. Checkout charges in pounds sterling and adds UK VAT at 20% to every item. The course settings list US dollars and euros, but the cart does not convert or charge in them yet, so treat Continuum as sterling only for now. There is no per-team VAT setting, so a charity or business that does not charge VAT should ask us before buying.
Do buyers get a VAT invoice?
Buyers receive an order confirmation showing the tax line, rather than a numbered VAT invoice. You can view orders and resend confirmations from Manage > Purchases. Sequential VAT invoices and credit notes are not built in.
Can I sell memberships or monthly subscriptions to learners?
No. Learners pay once per course, bundle or event product. A team-level subscription price field appears in Manage > Selling, but it does not currently create a recurring charge or unlock content, so please do not plan around it. For member-only access, enrol members through groups instead, as described in member training LMS.
Can a company buy several places for its staff?
Not as a single order. Each cart line is one place for the buyer, and a buyer cannot purchase something they already own. For employers, enrol staff directly into a course or group yourself and invoice separately.
Does refunding an order remove course access?
No. A refund returns the money through Stripe and updates the order status. It does not remove the learner's enrolment, so manage their access separately.
