What is a white-label LMS?

A white-label LMS is a learning platform you run under your own brand, so learners see your name, logo, colours and web address rather than the software vendor's. In Continuum Learn, each team sets its own look in Manage, can use its own subdomain such as learn.yourorg.com, and builds landing pages and course pages that match.

Your own URL. In Manage > Settings > Custom Domain you enter a subdomain you own, such as learn.yourorg.com, and add the DNS records shown there: a CNAME for routing and a record that proves ownership of the certificate. A Validate DNS Records button checks they are in place, and the SSL certificate is issued for you. Apex or root domains such as yourorg.com are not supported, so use a subdomain.

Your own look. Upload a logo, pick a brand look and adjust colours and fonts. Set your header and footer links, and build home or landing pages in the page builder. Emails built in the email editor can use your own designs; some transactional emails use fixed layouts with your logo and name.

What stays Continuum's. Login pages and the footer carry a small Powered by Continuum Learn line, with no setting to remove it. See also single sign-on and embedding courses on your own website.

Why run your LMS under your own brand

Learners trust a training site that looks and sounds like your organisation.

Your web address

Your logo, colours and fonts

Branded sign-in and emails

The login page uses your logo and header colour. Design emails in the email editor; some transactional emails, such as order confirmations, use fixed layouts.

Pages that match

Build home and landing pages in the same page builder as your courses, and set your own header and footer links.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own URL for my LMS?

Yes. You can run your training on a subdomain you own, such as learn.yourorg.com. In Manage > Settings > Custom Domain you enter the subdomain and add the DNS records shown, a CNAME for routing and a record that verifies the certificate. The SSL certificate is then issued for you. You do not need to contact support to set it up.

Can I use my root domain, such as yourorg.com?

No. Only subdomains are supported, so use a name like learn.yourorg.com or training.yourorg.com. Your main website can stay on the root domain.

What can I brand in a white-label LMS?

Your logo, header and menu colours, button colours, fonts, the login page, header and footer links, the contact email in the footer, home and landing pages built in the page builder, and the emails learners receive. Certificates have their own designs, with your logos and wording. See CPD certificate software.

Can I remove the Powered by Continuum Learn line?

No. A Powered by Continuum Learn line remains on login pages and in the footer. Everything you control (logo, colours, fonts, navigation, pages and editable emails) carries your brand.

Will the sign-in page show my branding?

Yes. The login page shows your logo on your header colour, with your team name. You can also add single sign-on through your own identity provider using OpenID Connect. See LMS single sign-on.

Can I brand the emails the LMS sends?

Partly. You can design the templates available in the email editor. Some transactional emails, including order confirmations, use fixed layouts with your team's logo and name, and are sent from the platform's sender address rather than your own domain.

Can I build landing pages that match my site?

Yes. The page builder used for lessons also builds pages, and you can assign one as your home page. Pages can have language variants served by learner language. See multilingual LMS.

Is it for courses only, or videos and events too?

Both. A team can be set to a courses focus or to a video and events focus, which changes the look of the login, registration and public pages. See LMS with live streaming for events.
